Burst that Twitter Bubble!!

Hey, wouldn’t it be great if you could get all the free web traffic you’d ever need and get it free? You’re probably thinking “Yeah right” but let me explain before you brush this off.

As you probably know, some networkers are driving THOUSANDS of FREE VISITORS to their websites every single month with Twitter while others grumble and sigh “social media doesn’t work.” But the truth is, social media sites like Twitter are an easy source of web traffic once you know…Burst that Twitter Bubble!!

How To Burst that Twitter Bubble…

Well, today I’d like to burst the Twitter bubble for you and help you drive more visitors to your sites every day than you ever thought possible. And the best part is that it’s only gonna take you a few minutes a day.  Burst that Twitter Bubble!!

So here’s a few friendly Twitter tips to get you started:

NEVER SPAM – As you probably know, some of the big names get away with this but for the average networker this is a BIG MISTAKE. Twitter isn’t a free billboard, it’s a community built of REAL PEOPLE who hate spam.

Be Fascinating –
You know, one thing most people don’t seem to get is that your followers will not be bored into recommending you to others. So you have to keep your tweets interesting! Strive for contrast. Watch what your competitors are doing and do the opposite.

Share – For instance, you can post links to fun sites and free resources as well as quotes, or even jokes and your followers will love it. After all, many of them are simply looking for someone (or something) to pay attention to. You can be that someone.

Retweet Awesome Links – One of the easiest ways to “tweet” and perhaps the most valuable is the “retweet”. This is when you take someone elses “tweet” and send it to your followers — giving credit where it’s due. You’ll build a lot of goodwill this way too.

Be Yourself – There’s no rulebook that says you have to be uptight about your business. Share a bit of yourself with your followers every once in a while and you might be surprised by the results. You should communicate as often as you can… as long as it’s interesting… and as long as it helps build relationships with your followers.

And that will get you started. Burst that Twitter Bubble!!

An Important Note: As long as you keep building relationships and keep following more prospects or potential customers on Twitter then you’ll continue to grow and drive traffic to your website in just minutes a day.

This isn’t an instant fix. It takes time but only a few minutes a day. The key is consistency.

Ohhh! And one more quick tip: If you wanna see a huge spike in your web traffic on any given day it’s really easy to do. Simply follow more people! It’s really that simple. You know, the first thing anybody does when they see you following them is wonder who you are. And if you look credible, they’ll be curious enough to visit your site soon enough.

The Best Part: It’s FREE!

So there’s really no telling how far you can take this once you get started. It works for me, it works for other Joebots and it will work for you too if you give it a try.

So get started!

7 Ways to Make Your Headlines Grab Attention!

“On the average, five times as many people read the headlines as read the body copy.” — David Ogilvy

Okay, today’s post is all about headlines and how to write them. It’s not the easiest skill to pick up but you could argue it’s one of the most important skills in internet marketing today.

I know that’s a big claim but a lot of experts agree…7 Ways to Make Your Headlines Grab Attention!

So Here’s Seven Ways To Make Your Headlines Grab Attention…

1. Collect Headlines Collect headlines in a book or write them on index cards. I know it sounds simple but this one tip will save you a lot of pain. By writing out headlines you get a feel for what really works.

2. The 15-20 Rule. Without question, one of the easiest ways to write a great headline is to write loads of them and pick the best. I like to write out 15 to 20 headlines before I fall in love with one. And there’s no substitute for hard work.

The real secret is to getting started!

3. Specifics. If there’s one simple “trick” that will make all your headlines shine then it’s this… be specific. Don’t say “the dog” say “the springer spaniel”. Target in on your topic.

4. Be the Reader. This is really easy to do and it helps a ton. Before you spend any money at all (or take any risk) ask yourself:

“If I was my reader, would this headline get me to read the next line?”

Because the whole point of your headline is to call out to your specific reader and get them to read your ad. If it fails to do this one little thing then it isn’t a good headline and you’re wasting your time…and we all know Time is Money.

5. Convert The Skeptics. One of the biggest mistakes people make in their headlines is pretty easy to fix. All you have to do is read them like you’re a skeptic and tear them apart. If there’s any reason at all that a skeptic wouldn’t believe your headline then there’s a good chance it won’t work at all.

6. Break The News. People love news. One of the easiest ways to write a headline that gets read is to have something really new or fascinating to say. After all, you can only use so many “tricks” and in the end your ads have to be helpful. They have to serve your readers. And one of the best ways to do this is to share interesting news.

7. Contrast. Almost nobody talks about this but one of the best ways to write an ad that gets read is to simply stand out from the crowd. You know, if everyone’s using short headlines then maybe you should consider a long one .

As always, you should test and measure the results. That will tell you for sure.

A Few Common Mistakes…

1. Tricky headlines. The funny thing about headlines that make you laugh is they almost never work. Your readers don’t like being “tricked” into buying from you and they don’t like to be tricked into reading your first sentence either. If your headline makes you laugh then throw it out. This isn’t the place to be clever.

2. Unbelievable Claims. Quite often you’ll find that a king-sized promise will flop as a headline. It wasn’t always this way but today’s crowds are skeptical of every word you say. The fact is, people are more likely to believe you if you don’t make any Godzilla-sized claims.

3. Curiosity Kills The Cat. Hey, don’t get me wrong. You should always strive to build curiosity into your headlines but the mistake people make is going too far and assuming that everyone will read their funky little ads if they slap some dumb headline up there.

Again, as I always say to the fellow Joebots, its all about hard work and finding what works for you. Be yourself, but use these tips to improve. Good luck and let me know if I can help.

Stop Being an SEO Idiot!

Many entrepreneurs are clueless when it comes to getting their sites ranked in the search engines.

This blog post will show you a simple blueprint you can follow to get tons of free, laser targeted traffic to your website.

Stop Being an SEO Idiot!

First of all, SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization.
This is the process of improving the volume & quality of traffic to your website from search engines via “natural” (organic) search results for targeted keywords. To put it simply, SEO is basically making your website more attractive to Google (and other search engines) and getting it ranked higher on those search engines.

As an entrepreneur, SEO is important because it brings in free, organic traffic to your websites.

Below are several tips that you can learn from Joebots Marketing Products, in particular at Traffic Formula 2.

There are 4 primary elements of SEO:
1. The Crawl

2. On – Page factors

3. Site structure

4. Off – Page factors (Inbound Linking)
1. The Crawl
The search engines know your website exists by sending search engine spiders (bots) to ‘crawl’ through your website to check what kind of content it has.
This is the general process for identification of a website and retrieval of information e.g. texts, images, and links on that website.
The crawl is important because without it, search engines will not know your website or page exists and cannot place your website pages in their index and rank them accordingly.

2. On-Page Factors
The 3 most important on – page factors are Page Title, H1 (Headlines), and Body Text.
i) Page Title
The page title is found in the topmost sector of your web browser (the blue/black strip at the top of your web browser, with the logo of your web browser on the extreme left).
ii) H1 (Headlines)
These are the headlines of your posts and articles.
iii) Body Text
Body text is important because it helps in giving the user and search engines a better understanding of what your page is about.

3. Site Structure
Site structure is another important aspect of SEO.
Users and search engines need to be able to find the information they are looking for quickly on your website.
Try to make your site as navigable as possible.
Do this by following these 3 rules:
i) Keep your most important content close to your homepage.
Try to keep your most important content within 3 clicks from your homepage (The 3 Click Rule).
This isn’t mandatory, but it is a good guideline to follow, especially for beginners.
ii) Group your content logically.
Always try to group your content logically to allow users and search engine spiders to sort through your content effectively.
iii) Don’t create any dead ends.
All your pages should be able to loop back (link back) to the pages before it and also to the homepage.

4. Off – Page factors (Inbound Linking)
An inbound link is a link on another website that points back to your website.
It is also know as a backlink.
Links are the MOST IMPORTANT factor in Search Engine Optimization.
The higher the number of quality backlinks pointing to your website, the higher your rankings in the search engines.

The best home based business today….no doubt!

With so many choices out there it gets a little overwhelming at times. So what I wanted to share today is a 19-point checklist that will help almost anybody choose the “best” opportunity for their lifestyle today.

So what is the best opportunity in network marketing today?

Drumroll please….

The one you pick and stick to! Because there’s no shortage of opportunities. No doubt you’ve seen everything from miracle juice to magic pills, but that’s only the start. No matter what you’re into there’s a good chance someone is offering it in network marketing today.

In fact, I did a quick “google” yesterday and within seconds a dozen opportunities popped up. Everything from Christian MLM’s to adult entertainment. So you have options. More than you could ever research. But I’m not here to pick your choices because the best op is the one that’s best for you.

Keep in mind, there’s no shortage of garbage too.

So keep your shield up.

Before we start. I hope you’ll forgive me, because this post isn’t for everyone. But if you’re keeping your eyes open for the next big thing or want to see how your current biz measures up then here’s a few things to keep in mind.

I hope you’ll share your own insight in a comment below. There’s a world of first timers looking for all the help they can get.

So here it is…

19 Point Checklist For Choosing The Best Network Marketing Opportunity For You:

Restrictions. What kind of restrictions does the company place on your marketing or selling? Some ops won’t even let you advertise at all. And you can’t blame them with the FTC cracking out new advertising laws every month.

Compensation. What’s the comp plan like? Have you shopped around enough to know if it’s worth your time? Most ops let you download their compensation plan online. This makes it easy to compare.

Products. How big is the product line? Are they focused on a single product or building a large line? In the end it’s up to you but there are perks to both.

Love. Do you love the product? This is one of the most important factors in your network marketing success. You can be a complete “newbie” and still recruit like a maniac if you’re passionate about your product and know it works.

Ethics. This goes hand in hand with faith in your product. But I’d dig deeper. You wouldn’t want to have a rip roaring success only to find out later that your product wasn’t as “clean” as you thought it was at first kiss.

Family. Is this something your friends and family would support? They might have trouble dealing with some of the “sexier” biz ops out there. Business is tough without a a safety net.

Start-up. How much does it cost to get started? Some opportunities aren’t for poor folks. This doesn’t mean that they should be ruled out, but you have to do the math first.

Owners. Who runs the company? Do they have a history of success, honesty and integrity? Are they someone you would introduce to friends and family without a second thought? It’s worth looking into.

Online vs Offline. This is a biggie. Will you be able to build from the comfort of your own home online or is it a more hands on “go get ‘em” operation? You know yourself better than anyone else. So set yourself up for success.

Residual. What kind of residual income are we looking at? Some products have a relatively short life span and you have to be willing to accept that but you’d be amazed by some of the longterm rewards some opportunities hold.

Simplicity. Is the company structure and product line easy to understand? This might not be the first thing you look at but it’s hard to underestimate the “KISS” principle. The classic “Keep It Stupid Simple.”

Time. Let’s face it, some ops are time intensive. If you’re looking for a spare time biz then these aren’t for you. But keep looking because there’s plenty of choices out there for the less involved.

Duplication. How easy is it gonna be to duplicate yourself, train your team and help them grow like you have? Some ops aren’t very scalable. And if you’re spending all your time coaching how do you expect to recruit?

Training. A lot of network marketing companies miss the boat in the training department. Instead you have to rely on your own experience or upline… not the company itself. This can be a huge challenge… especially if you’re new to network marketing.

Debt. Network Marketing is like any other business. Most new start ups will not succeed in any real way. And if you’ve just spent 6 months building your downline it would be really hard to take it if your company went under.

History. How long has your company been around? Do you know any success stories that aren’t complete bull. Do they have a stellar reputation. These are all things you should dig up.

Emotional. The rewards are emotional as well as physical. If you want to make a real difference in the lives of others then there’s companies built around those principles. Don’t worry, if you keep your eyes open you’ll find one that’s right for you.

Cash. How fast will you get paid? This is something that a lot of opportunities brush off. Because like any business, some people won’t make a dime while others rake in the greenbacks. Still, you have to look into it or face failure from the start.

And above all…

Take your time. Nobody says you have to decide overnight. Some people or even couples spend months looking for the right biz. In the end, it’s your life at stake. There’s no need to take a blind leap.

But you do have to take the first step.
